About The Children's Home of Cincinnati

Founded in 1864, The Children's Home of Cincinnati is a private, nonprofit organization that serves vulnerable children whose social, behavioral, and learning challenges threaten their chances for success in life. The mission of The Children's Home of Cincinnati is to transform the lives of vulnerable children through individualized treatment and education services that build the skills and confidence to succeed in life. We provide education and mental health treatment for children of all ages through a wide array of intensive day programs and community-based services.

Last year, we made a deep and lasting impact in the lives of over 6,000 individuals. The children we serve may have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, poverty, or other factors that inhibit their healthy growth and development. They need help to manage their emotions and behaviors and overcome learning challenges to reach their full potential.
