Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCB) is Hamilton County's largest community mental health organization dedicated to assisting adults with severe mental illness. Over 4000 adults with severe mental illness are served by GCB each year. GCB is a caring,comprehensive resource for clients and their families to access and benefit from a broad range of individualized services. It provides psychiatric and primary health care services, including fully credentialed psychiatrists and other professional staff who manage dedicated direct service personnel.
The agency provides case management, vocational and residential services to adults who have been diagnosed with illnesses such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. GCB has a mission, vision and values system in place that drives whatever decisions are made-- to instill dignity, responsibility and self-respect in all clients, and to strive for quality and excellence in every aspect of its service.
