About Summit Elementary School

Summit Elementary is a public elementary school housing grades Pre-K - 6. A part of the Forest Hills School District, Summit has been named an Excellent School by the State of Ohio for several years in a row.

Summit Elementary is a Responsive Classroom School, meaning that we believe that our school and our students benefit from pursuing excellence academically and socially. Summit teachers work with the Northeast Foundation for Children to provide the best modeling, direct teaching and practice of the kinds of skills all future employers will be glad these students have mastered - the ability to learn and study, to work together, and to take responsibility for themselves and care for the world around them.
